Work With Us

As our projects grow and develop we also need to increase the size of our team and resources in order to continue meeting the needs of young people in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.

Here at Pulse we are always looking for enthusiastic committed people who feel they are called to work with or in support of young people.

There are a number of ways that you can get involved from simply donating to the work we currently do, supporting us administratively and logistically, gap year placements or volunteering with us on the ground at our individual projects. All of these areas are key to our success and mean that we can continue serving more and more young people across all of our projects.

Donating to Pulse – We rely heavily on the generous financial support from individuals, businesses, organisations and churches who are passionate about seeing young people reached. We also from time to time receive resources that are surplus to requirements from these same areas.

Administrative & Logistical Support – We are looking for people who are gifted in this area to take on some of the office workload that we currently have. This area also includes people who have a keen ability for business / charity structure. We are looking for individuals who can assist in taking us forward into the right areas.

Gap Year Placements – We offer a range of placements for people aged 18 and over looking to gain experience in Christian Youth and Community Work. These placements vary from an individual project basis to more permanent work alongside Pulse staff.

Volunteering – We are always looking for people aged 18 and over who are keen to support our individual projects or the wider Pulse organisation in a more hands on way. If you feel called to work with young people as part of a Christian Youth Project then we would love to hear from you.

Staff – We are looking for individuals with some Youth Work experience to serve on our staff team in order to become Youth Cafe Managers or work alongside those who are. We offer full in house training and support and aim to see people grow into a variety of roles.

If you are interested in supporting us through any of these areas please get in touch through the “Contact Us” section and we will be happy to give you the details that you need.

Please note working with Pulse is subject to successful background “Safeguarding & Child Protection” checks.
